Brief Introduction:


JY-SF I Electronic Spirometer is a high-performance lung testing instrument. Adopting the winged gas flow sensor, matched with low consumption and high effective microprocessing system and precision electronic-circuit, this instrument operations steadily, sensitively and accurately. JY-SF I Electronic Spirometer can be used widely in health and medical treatment.


Structure, Character and Principle of Operation:


1. Main Parts of the Instrument: Medical tube, cortis's funnel, winged gas flow sensor, mainframe and main lead.

2. Function & Characteristic

2.1 Adopting advanced low consumption microprocessing technology, and high effective LCD display technique and kiss thin panel-switch technology, it can be operated clearly, precisely and easily.

2.2 Equipped with in-fared sensor, the detecting probe is suitable for measurement of gas flow in changing state with high sensitivity and repeatability.

2.3 Adopting DC(3V) power supply or can use two 1.5V5# battery. This instrument is especially suitable for the field emergency treatment with strong anti-interference and is easy to carry about.


Operating Principle:

The testee blows hardly at the tube, the air flow will be feed back by the sensor to the microprocessing system. After analytically treatment, the results will be transformed into digital signal and transmitted to LCD display window in the panel, through which the operator can read the testing results.

Panel control & Operating Instruction:


1. The Installation of Gas Flow Sensor

The sensor contact(1) is on the top of the instrument.In using, push gently the plug into the interface. When pull it out, just hold the front end and pull it out lightly.

Before using, testee should have the tube, sensor in good order. It should be bore in mind that blowing at the sensor directly will cause the damage of the instrument.

2. Source Select & Use

2.1 Alternating Current Power Supply

Put AC-AD Adapter AD side (Output) to the power insert(4), then connect the AC side (Input) to the power (220V 50Hz).

2.2 Direct Current Power Supply

Open the battery box cover, install the battery (1.5V5# 2pcs) then close the box cover.

3. Test

Turn on the power switch(3) on the side of the spirometer to turn the spirometer on.

Press the START key(5), you will hear "Di", then release.LCD shows "0". Now the spirometer is ready for use. If you want to reuse; press the RESET(6) then press the START.


Safety information:


1. Cut off the power (or take out the battery) and clean the spirometer if you don't use the spirometer for a long time.

2. Adopting a precision mechanical optical structure, the gas flow sensor should handle gently and beating or dropping of it is prohibited definitely.

3. In suing, accumulated water in the sensor should be cleared in time and dehydrated with anhydrous alcohol.

4. The blow pipe or sensor should be sterilized with antiseptic or fumigated with formaldehyde.

5. To stop the testing, press the clear key on the panel. To reuse it, press the start key.

This spirometer can be guaranteed for one year free repair commencing on the date of purchasing.
